Christmas is coming, as my little sister keeps reminding me. It feels significantly more Christmasy around here since noon, when my Aunt, Judith and my sister Anne came down from Edmonton. Jude lives in Edmonton, and has come for Christmas every year since before I can remember, so when she comes you know that Christmas really is almost here.
Tim and I managed to get his basement all ready for the drywallers. The insurance company is going to pay to have the place drywalled, and for a new floor, which is very nice. I've been reliably informed that drywall is an infernal pain to put up, and I'm glad enough to not have a share in that! I did, however, learn how to put up insulation, which I have no doubt is a skill much in demand in the world at large.
