Well, I'm all moved in! Jeff and I went and got the stuff that I had left with Vicky this afternoon, and I picked up the stuff from his place. All told, it took less than two hours to move me in. It can be nice having no stuff. My room is great, quite big. I have a little table and a couple chairs in here to use as a desk, and an armchair, bed and bookshelf, and still have plenty of room. Vicky, who is really awesome, gave me an old bed that she had, so I don't have to sleep on the floor. I wasn't sure what I was going to do about this- I really didn't want to buy a bed, in case I go back to school, and have no where to put it. I was thinking about buying another air mattress, but they are quite big, and a little expensive for right now. So a free single bed was just what I needed! Comfortable too. The place overall is great. James, my roommate and landlord is really nice, and very easygoing. I'm just down the road from Kirsten and Jeff, and I can walk to work. I have a balcony, and a George Foreman grill. I was glad to move in, but a little sad to leave Jeff and Kirsten's place. They were beyond nice to me the whole time, and Jeff and I watched at least one episode of Macgyver and played at least one game of crib everyday that I was there.

Today was the first church service since I got back. It was really nice to go and see everyone. Quite a few people from St. George's e-mailed me regularly, and it sounds like quite a few of them read this blog too. Nice to know that people were keeping tabs on me! Ralph, the new rector seems really nice, and I liked his sermon today a lot.

I cannot believe the weather here. On Tuesday night it snowed a ton, and most of it is still on the ground. It's quite icy, because it melts a little during the day, but doesn't go anywhere. It's starting to feel like Alberta around here. I thought the point of moving to the coast was to avoid winter!
