An interesting weekend. Apparently the big sister was in Vancouver, but opted to go sit in the rain in Sechelt rather than sit in the rain here. Sechelt is probably prettier in the rain anyway. yesterday I had to go to a Parish council day at the church all morning- not because I'm on PC, but since I'm staff. It was pretty interesting though, since the rector is trying to radically change a ton of things in the church, which is really interesting to be a part of. He was talking a lot about the Alban Institute, which apparently divides churchs up into three types of church- pastoral, or family churches, with less than fifty active members, program churches, with up to two hundred and fifty active member, and resource churchs, which are the big ones. It was interesting to hear about how you approach each type of church differently, and how in most churchs more than one church type is evident.
Today we got the pay per view game, which was cool to get, but the Canucks lost. We had a ton of people over though, so it was a good time despite.
