Well, I just got back from a lightning camping trip. Just a one nighter, but it was good times. We went out to Goldstream, which is about five or ten minuets outside town. It's the best place to go for these lightining one night trips, since you can get there and get back pretty quickly. Still, it's in a cedar forest, which never gets old!
We woke up this morning to rain, which was not too bad, since we were leaving anyway. Also, if you live on the West Coast you just have to get used to the rain. Not like it, necessarily, but be used to it. It does kind of get to a guy, though, when it's hot and sunny all day while you're sitting inside at a computer, and then rains when you go camping.
We stopped for breakfast, and were home by eleven this morning, which made for a pretty relaxing Saturday. One thing I will say for only camping one night of the weekend, is that it makes the whole thing seem longer!
