I haven't posted much lately. It's not that nothing is going on, it that it's just the same things week in and out, and they are rarely enough to rate an entry on even this blog.
I just got home from a interparish thing that we're trying to get going for older teens, people in high school. We've had a few, and gotten some kids out, but tonight no one showed. I think we need to do more advertizing. It was disapointing, but, on the other hand, I got to get home early! I've been very tired and unmotivated this week.
On the plus side, I went to evensong last night and tonight. They have this every day at the Cathedral, but I've never gone, because I get off at 4:30 and it starts at 5:15, so I've never wanted to have to hang around the office for forty five minutes. However, since I had to wait downtown anyway, I went along. Two really nice services, different liturgys on the differnt days, but both very quiet and calming- just right after a long day. I'd better get used to them, since next week I'm leading one of the evensongs! After months of promises, they finally added me to the schedule, so a few times a month I'll get to lead the services.
